The injector has a body (11) whose outer side has a valve seat (15) with a sealing cone (16) surrounding an injector opening traversed by an injector needle (12) whose spherical zone (17) cooperates with the cone. The bend radius of the zone is selected sufficiently large so that an angle between the needle and the seat is lower than an opening angle of a diffuser (18) formed by running-in of the seat and/or the needle.
