The circulating fluidised bed reactor comprises a reaction chamber coupled by an accelerator belt to a centrifugal separator, to separate particles from hot gases emanating from the reaction chamber ; the assembly comprises a reaction chamber, separator and cage. The installation comprises at least two modules, firstly in which the reaction chamber is between the separator and cage, and secondly, in which the separator is between the reactor and cage.
