The device has a spring (12) exerting a force (F) to retain a valve of a needle (2) on a seat of an injector (1) and connected to a rear body (14). An adjusting screw (18) is associated to the spring that permits to dimension elastic connection between the body and a case (3) of the injector. The spring is situated partially inside the case and the adjusting screw is situated outside the case. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting an injector provided with a needle position adjusting device.
