The bag (10) is made from a waterproof plastic film, preferably 35 - 40 microns thick to contain a vacuum-packed hydrophilic building material such as a plaster, rendering cement or repair material in powder form, ready to mix with water. The plastic film can be of variable thickness, depending on the presence of mesh cells on one of its faces, and its opening (2) is sealed, e.g. by thermal welding, after filling.
