The invention relates to a system (1) for the unloading of data comprising a computer (3) on board a motor vehicle having a memory medium (5) on which the data are intended to be recorded, and a storage medium ( 2) of data, external to the vehicle, from which the data are discharged, the system being characterized in that it comprises means adapted so that in case of interruption of the unloading of the data from the external storage medium (2) , said unloading can only resume with regard to the data of the external medium (2) not yet recorded on the memory medium (5) of the onboard computer (3). The invention also relates to a computer (3) embedded in a motor vehicle intended for use in such an unloading system.
