The orthosis has a tubular elastic fabric unit including a stiffening unit (9) that comprises of femoral and tibial studs (10a, 10b) supported on a lateral face of patient`s thigh and leg, respectively. The femoral stud presents a toothed segment (14a) at its end with respect to the tibial stud, where the toothed segment engages a toothed segment (14b) that is housed in an end of the tibial stud with respect to the femoral stud.
