The sensor has two bundles of optical fibers (11, 12) mounted in a metallic cylinder constituting body of a probe (13) facing a crown (21) of a disc (20) of a drive shaft. The cylinder extends in a direction of a probe head (14) by a metallic cylinder terminated by a beveled end. The crown has a series of angular black lines (24) between which a space is provided. The space has a white surface to constitute a reference mark (22).
