The distributor has a body (2) with a lateral wall (20) closed at its upper part by an arch (21) comprising an orifice (22). The orifice presents an area such that ratio of its area with area of an outer section of the wall is lower than 0.5. The orifice cooperates with a cap (6) using a specific sealing unit (12) to seal the orifice in an airtight manner when the distributor is closed. An independent claim is also included for a pot formed by a fluid cosmetic product distributor.
