The button has an actuating membrane (3) with an outer surface (7) on which a groove forming a pattern such as a pictogram is emerged and an inner surface (9) to support on a contact. A flexible film (12) is fixed to the membrane to constitute a base of the groove. The film is pierced with an opening (13) in which a part of the membrane extends. An independent claim is also included for a method to fabricate an actuating membrane of a control button.
