The interface has opto-couplers (422, 432) to provide a verification code on respective conductors (100, 101). Opto-couplers (426, 436) have photodiodes (427, 437) coupled to the conductors (100, 101), respectively for recovering the verification code when the binary signal is in a secure state and not recovering the code when the signal is in a state different from the secure state. An independent claim is also included for a transport vehicle.
