The article has tapping zones (5) arranged inside hammering zones (4). The zones are mixed to confer an external aspect of aged metal such as stripped cast iron, to the article. The hammering zones are formed by pits (6) while the tapping zones are formed of notches (7). The external aspect of the aged metal is complementary to raw rock surface that is used for forming impression of a forming tool. An independent claim is also included for a method of obtaining a decorative hardware article.
