The lance has a body (2) receiving telescopic units (3) movable with respect to the body. The body has, at one of its end, a rotating joint (4) for an in-dismountable permanent connection with a flexible conduit (5). The conduit has an end (6) arranged to be connected directly or through a flexible connection conduit (7) to a suction mouth (8) of a vacuum cleaner (9). The telescopic units (3) are immobilized with respect to each other or with respect to the body through a brake (10). The brake has a compression-ring clip whose radial displacement is controlled by a lever.
