The system has a recirculation conduit opening in an air intake conduit in the downstream of valve forming units through two rectilinear portions (151, 152) respectively including outlet openings (153, 154). The portions are placed and sized to obtain two exhaust gas flows (F21, F22) which enter in partial collision in a central zone of the intake conduit and create rotational movements (G1, G2) of the gas around the zone. An independent claim is also included for an internal combustion engine equipped of an exhaust gas recirculation system.
