The device has an attachment unit placed on lateral sides of an enclosure (20) and comprising a rigid part with two lateral branches (26a) and a central branch connected to an elastic strap. The rigid part is connected with a case (8) and a rail (10) integrated with a floor (9). The strap is arranged between the part and the sides for exerting tension between the part and the enclosure to flatten the enclosure on the floor. An independent claim is also included for a detachable storage enclosure for a motor vehicle.
