The method involves implementing a plastic material injection and/or compression technology for manufacturing an outer panel (2) and hood inner panel (3) that constitute a hood (1). The inner panel is manufactured, where the inner panel has an air inlet (5) at the front of the hood and air distribution channels (4) in predetermined areas. The distribution channels comprise air filter type filtering units. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle hood constituted by an outer panel and a hood inner panel.
