摘要

The device has a modular absorber (40) and an energy absorption mechanism (50) with two bars (52) coupled to a compressible carrier structure (32) for energy absorption along a direction of the bars. A coupling slide (56) slides along the bars to machine the bars. The bars are connected at their front end (54) to a front end (36) of the structure for simultaneous displacement of the bar and end (36) during compression of the structure. The bars are machined during displacement of the slide from an initial position to an end position. An independent claim is also included for a rail transit car equipped with a shock absorbing device.
