The blade has a mount (13) supporting a tab (17) wiping a surface to be cleaned. A disconnect fastener (14) is mounted pivotally on the mount around an axle (21) parallel to longitudinal direction of the tab and contained in a symmetrical plane of the mount. Two stops (25, 26) situated on both sides of the symmetry plane of the mount contact with the surface in order to limit rotation of the mount with respect to the fastener. An independent claim is also included for a windshield for a motor vehicle.
