The method involves triggering a correction action, upon determining that a motor vehicle is found in a critical situation. The action is triggered only if a skin potential signal representing an abnormal stress state or distraction state of a driver of the vehicle is sensed. The action is triggering an alarm signal, visual signal and auditive signal, that is sensed by the driver, or the action is performed by the vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a device for aiding to the driving by alarm in case of emergency for a motor vehicle.
