The bell has a reversible fixation unit (3) adopting an open position in which the unit allows the passage and removal of the bell around a collar attached on neck of an animal. The unit adopts a closed position in which the unit allows the fixation of the bell on the collar. The unit has two branches (3a, 3b) with complementary hooks (5, 6) cooperating with each other to allow the fixation of the bell on the collar. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a bell.
