Radio navigation architecture for e.g. vehicle, has switching units to connect radiolocation receiver to controlled or secured fixed reception pattern antennas respectively in scrambled military environment or unscrambled civil environment

The architecture comprises of a satellite radiolocation receiver (3), a secured fixed reception pattern antenna (FRPA) (6), and a controlled reception pattern antenna (CRPA) (12). Switching units (5) connect the receiver to the antenna (12) in case of a scrambled military environment, or connects the receiver to the secured antenna (6) in case of an unscrambled civil environment. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle comprising a satellite radiolocation system equipped with radio navigation architecture.
