The method involves hot stretching a thin deformable film (4) adhered on a porous matrix (1), under the effect of a fluid which escapes of the matrix at a pressure higher than the pressure exerted on a free face of the film. The matric has a face, opposite to the face utilized for hot stretching the film, sealed by a continuous layer for obstructing the passage of the fluid. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing a method for fabricating a micro or nano fiber.
