The device has an alpha-numeric keyboard, with keys having a double alphabet and other characters, placed below a large liquid crystal display. A pen permits writing on a small liquid crystal display. A bilingual electronic dictionary includes a sign language. A translation module translates the sign language into any existing language and inversely, and any existing language into another language. A list of languages, logos, existing alphabetic letters, sign language alphabets, Arabic numerals and punctuation marks is provided. A strap is integrated at the back of the device.
