摘要
The applicant has discovered new antioxidants derived from species of Anacardiaceae, more particularly marula, Sclerocarya birrea. These antioxidants are obtained by maceration and / or extraction of roots and / or bark and / or leaves and / or fruits (pericarp) and / or parts of fruit (epicarp, mesocarp, endocarp), and / or seeds and / or cake and / or testa and / or any other part of one or more species of Anacardiaceae, in particular marula, Sclerocarya birrea with the aid of a hydrophilic (s), lipophilic (s) or amphiphilic (s), polar and / or apolar solvent (s), alone or as a mixture and / or physical treatment (s) .It is quite surprising to note that the extracts obtained have remarkable oxidative stability and have excellent anti-free radical properties. In the same way, the applicant has developed extraction processes that incredibly favor the saturation rate of antioxidant active ingredients and also considerably reduces the contact time required to obtain this level. These new antioxidants can be used alone. or in admixture with current antioxidants known to those skilled in the art.
