The profile (1) has a tubular housing with U shape defined by parallel lateral wings (4, 5). The free ends of the wings are folded inward to form anchoring spikes (7, 8) cooperating with corresponding recesses (10, 11) made near an end (15) of a prefabricated slender construction unit (12). An end (17) of another prefabricated slender construction unit (18) to be connected to the unit (12) is introduced in another housing of the profile. The height of the profile is such that a preset number of construction units are superposed by sliding in the respective housings to construct a wall. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a slender construction unit comprising recesses (2) a modular structure e.g. swimming pool.
