The rod has a cutting edge (1) mounted at ends of bars (2) and including anchorage sections (3) opposite to a slender part (1b). The sections retract from the bars under a driving effect in a civil engineering structure and are deviated under a tractive effort exerted on the bars. The sections are formed by direct overlapping of the body of the edge, and are adapted to be deformed by elasticity. The ends of the sections are conformed to screed for assembling a joint pin (4) traversing the edge.
