The assembly has a flexible cover (3) whose one end is integrated to an anchoring tube (5) and another end is integrated to a rolling tube (4) around which the cover is rolled at a rolled state. The tubes have thickness and diameter greater than that of stiffening tubes. An anchoring system (11) anchors the former end of the cover at the ground via the anchoring tube. A tensioning unit (10) permits to stretch the cover above a swimming pool (2) by drawing the rolling tube. The cover is fabricated in a thermally insulated and lined fabric.
