The apparatus has a flat support (1) on which flexible plates (2, 3) are fixed. A headrest (4) comprises screwing devices to restrain a user e.g. sportsman, to maintain the frontal plane of his head parallel to a general extension plane of the headrest, during movements performed between the rest and working positions of the headrest. The screwing devices comprise struts (6, 7, 9) in which one strut (6) is fixed to the headrest. Another strut (7) has an end with a mark (8) and the third strut (9) comprises a rod (10) with a free end constituting a mark (11).
