The engine has a cylinder-piston system with an alternative movement. A depression is created in a cylinder connected to a vacuum pump, so that ambient pressure on the cylinder`s open side allows to move a piston towards the cylinder bottom in an operation cycle, and the pressure is reestablished in the cylinder when the piston is far from the bottom in another cycle in case the system has a simple effect. The depression is created on one cylinder side while maintaining the pressure on another side in one cycle and the pressure is reversed in another cycle if the system has a double effect.
