The ball joint has a sleeve (3) interposed between a cup and a ball when the ball is plugged in the cup for pivoting with respect to the cup. The sleeve is constituted of a set of blades (11, 12, 13) in which an interior surface of each of the blade comes in contact with a ball surface. Inter-blade spaces separate the blades from each other. The blades are either in contact with respect to each other by their lateral edges and sides or in contact with the ball surface when the blades are folded back on the ball surface.
