The sails have a step inclined towards the rear of a boat at an angle of 5 degree and fixed on a hull of the boat. A mast with a double throat slides on the step for receiving a sail with a bold rope or a sail with a pocket. The mast and the step constitute a buoyancy tank. The mast is wound around the step by a drum system actuated by a hydraulic or electric motor. A support cushion and rings assembly permits the rotation of the mast on its step.
