A solar powered heat circulating booster used with a domestic radiator

A solar powered heat circulating booster used with a domestic radiator comprises a plastics casing 7 attached to a radiator by magnets, a solar cell 1 adapted to charge batteries which power a low voltage motor and fan arrangement 4 for blowing air over the radiator, an on/off/automatic switch 2, a bi-metallic switch 6 and a variable transistor 5 to control the operation of the booster. The batteries may be charged in a separate charger (figs 3 - 5) which may be attached to the booster. The bi-metallic switch 6 detects heat given off by the radiator and upon reaching a specific temperature the low voltage motor and fan arrangement 4 are operated. The variable transistor 5 permits the speed of the fan to be controlled and subsequently controls the power consumption of the batteries. A green light emitting diode 3 may also be illuminated to indicate the booster is running.
