PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce burdens on a radiographer who confirms medical images before keeping and to improve the quality and efficiency of confirmation work. PSOLUTION: First definition information 15 for defining the arranging order of the plurality of medical images by utilizing auxiliary information of the medical images and second definition information 16 for defining the positions of the respective medial images when simultaneously displaying the plurality of medical images on a screen by utilizing the auxiliary information of the medical images are stored in a memory 11, and editing of the definition information by a definition information editing means 13 is made possible. By referring to the auxiliary information, a display control means 10 displays image information 14 output from a modality on the screen in the arranging order defined by the first definition information, or displays it on the screen so as to be arranged at the position defined by the second definition information, or displays it in the arranging order defined by the first definition information and at the position defined by the second definition information.
