PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for production of a new 3-dimensional tissue easily carrying out lamination of cells. PSOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for production of the 3-dimensional tissue with cell layer laminated through an extracellular matrix comprising (A) forming a cell layer on a substrate, (B) forming the extracellular matrix comprising a first substance and a second substance alternately laminated on the cell layer by alternately bringing the cell layer on the substrate into contact with a liquid containing the first substance and a liquid containing the second substance, and then (C) culturing cells on the extracellular matrix and forming the cell layer. The combination of the first substance and the second substance in the invention is a combination of a protein having a RGD sequence or a polymer having a RGD sequence with a protein or polymer interacting with the protein having a RGD sequence or a polymer having a RGD sequence, or a combination of a protein or a polymer having a positive charge with a protein or a polymer having a negative charge.
