PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mercury-reducing catalyst and a mercury-converting unit which can maintain a high reducing function even if various kinds of metal oxides and corrosive and strongly acidic gases coexist, and to provide a whole mercury-measuring device which continuously measures the whole mercury in an exhaust gas by using the mercury-reducing catalyst and the mercury-converting unit, and is excellent in precision, stable over a long period of time and not affected by coexisting components.;SOLUTION: The mercury-reducing catalyst contains a zeolite-based molecular sieve as a main component. The zeolite-based molecular sieve is a molecular sieve 3A, a molecular sieve 4A, a molecular sieve 5A, a molecular sieve 13X, or a combination of any of these molecular sieves. A salt, which is stable in high temperature, is impregnated or mixed as a poison-controlling agent against a strongly acidic gas.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
