PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe new supplement for the complementary therapy in preventing androgen-nondependent cancer, and to provide an androgen-nondependent cancer prophylactic agent.;SOLUTION: The new supplement for the complementary therapy in preventing androgen-nondependent cancer contains a plant-derived Serenoa repens extract. The androgen-nondependent cancer prophylactic agent comprises the Serenoa repens extract.
