PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output controller for a natural circulation nuclear reactor capable of supplying a stable output by detecting the temperature of feed water and controlling drive of a control rod in advance. PSOLUTION: The output controller of the natural circulation nuclear reactor comprising a reactor pressure vessel 6 which makes cooling water circulate by a difference in the density of an inner coolant, a feed water pipe 33 connected to the reactor pressure vessel 6 for feeding the cooling water and an output control section 15 for controlling the output of the reactor by the control rod 3 has an ultrasonic thermometer 12 provided on the feed water pipe 33 and controls drive of the control rod 3 according to the temperature of the feed water detected by the ultrasonic thermometer 12 by the output control section 15.
