PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate fertilizer effects for a long period without causing barrier to growth of ground cover while hardly causing reduction of the fertilizer applied thereto at mowing of the ground cover by the inhalation by a mower or the like in the fertilization when tending and/or growing the ground cover. PSOLUTION: The method of fertilizing to the vegetation including the ground cover and a water-retaining body comprises applying the fertilizer on the upmost part of the water-retaining body so as to form a layer, and applying the fertilizer to the water-retaining body so as to be vertical. The fertilizer contains a granular slow-acting fertilizer containing 70 mass% granules having 0.5 mm particle diameters, and having 2 mm maximum particle diameter. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
