PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair-growing composition exhibiting an excellent hair growth/hair tonic effect and hair loss-preventing effect, and used safely.;SOLUTION: A fibroblast growth factor 5 (FGF-5) has activities of inhibiting the growth of hair in hair matrix cells and transferring hair cycle from growing period to retrograding period, and a bamboo grass extract preparation from residual liquid in azeotropic fractional distillation of the extract obtained by a high pressure squeezing method from the bamboo grass has an activity of inhibiting the FGF-5 activity. Therefore, the hair-growing agent composition containing ≥1 kind of the above preparation maintains the proliferation of the hair matrix cells, and exhibits excellent hair growth/hair tonic effects since it contains a component directly accelerating the growth of the hair.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
