PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dispersing homogeneously an inorganic filler of a nano size in a general purpose synthetic resin such as PP, PA, ABS and PBT resins, and to provide a resin dispersed with the filler, and a method for producing the resin.;SOLUTION: A homogeneous xylene solution is obtained by modifying a low molecular weight PP of 30,000 weight-average molecular weight with maleic anhydride, by warming in xylene up to 140°C, and by stirring for 30 minutes. A hydrophobic silica fine particle of 30-80 nm particle diameter, as an inorganic filler, is obtained by adding sulfuric acid to a water-glass solution, by extracting silanol into THF by adding THF, then by dropwise addition of trimethylchlorosilane. A PP resin dispersed with the inorganic filler is produced by melt-kneading a PP resin with a fine particle obtained by pulverizing a solid material obtained by removing a solvent from a homogeneous solution prepared by adding to a xylene solution little by little the silica fine particle such that the weight ratio of it to the modified PP is 1:1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
