PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a new polymer composite film, in which a functional film having excellent performances can be formed on various kinds of polymer films and to provide a polymer composite film having excellent functional film.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the polymer composite film comprises applying alternating-current voltage to a pair of electrodes arranged in mutually opposite state in the presence of gaseous organometallic compound, bringing the generated plasma into contact with a polymer film and forming a film on the polymer film.
