SLUDGE AND SEDIMENT GRAVEL DEPOSITING RECESSED PART OF RIVER TIDAL AREA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deposit sediment gravel flowing down from the upstream side by separating from sludge, by intensively depositing much sludge with a simple structure, in a river-mouth area of a river.;SOLUTION: This sludge and sediment gravel depositing recessed part is formed so that the upper end of recessed parts is made substantially coincide with the river bed height, by closely adjacently arranging the artificial recessed parts of at least two rows in the direction crossing the river on a river bed 3 of a river tidal area. Among the artificial recessed parts of at least two rows, the downstream side recessed part is the sludge depositing recessed part 1, and the upstream side recessed part is the sediment gravel depositing recessed part 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
