PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to obtain the precise distance information, even for a device that uses the optical range finder.;SOLUTION: The range finder 1 comprises the operating part 24 for operating the distance to the object in the imaging view, based on the image signal group outputted from the imaging part 10; a radar 60 for detecting the distance to the object positioning in the prescribed detection range; a determination part 22 for determining whether the operation value of the operation part 24, based on the detection value in the radar 60; a correction part 23 for correcting the operating value which has been determined abnormal by the determination part 22.
