PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire highly-accurate distance information in a prescribed distance range. PSOLUTION: This distance measuring device 1 is equipped with a distance operation part 20 for operating the distance to an object positioned in an imaging visual field based on an image signal group outputted from an imaging part 10, a radar 60 for detecting the distance to the object positioned in a detection range, and a detection condition setting part 31 for setting a detection condition of the radar 60 based on an operation result by the distance operation part 20 and allowing the radar 60 to perform distance detection in the set condition. The detection condition setting part 31 sets a domain corresponding to a prescribed operation value in the operation result by the distance operation part 20 as the detection range of the radar 60. Hereby, in the distance measuring device 1, a detection value from the radar 60 having higher accuracy than the operation value by the distance operation part 20 can be acquired as distance information by setting an operation value in the distance range having low operation accuracy as a prescribed operation value.
