PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil collecting device for a roll device, capable of collecting oil in a roll mantle at a proper collecting rate.;SOLUTION: The oil collecting device for the roll device collects oil from the roll mantle 4A. On the rotating-direction upstream side of the roll mantle 4A beyond a slide contact portion of a shoe 5A with the roll mantle 4A, a guide member 11 is provided for guiding splashing oil from the slide contact portion 7 to the rotating-direction upstream side.
