PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-treatment apparatus for aluminum alloy material and a heat-treatment method therefor with which the cooling strain can be restrained.;SOLUTION: In the heat-treatment method or the heat-treatment apparatus for aluminum alloy material with which a thin casting W composed of an Al-Si based aluminum alloy is raised up to the temperature near the eutectic point and held in this temperature for a prescribed time. Then, a solution treatment is performed by blowing cooling medium to the casting W from a plurality of nozzles 5 and rapidly cooling.
