PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery method for recovering a thallium-203 isotopes from a thallium-201 radioisotope residual liquid which is characterized in that: after a residual liquid from thallium-203 plating and a residual liquid from a thallium-201 chemical solution are separated and refined to recover and refine a thallium-203 isotope by means of a chemical precipitation process and an ion exchange process, the resultant thallium-203 isotope is used, in the state of a solution, for the production of thallium-201 and also is used, in the form of a solid thallium-203 thallium oxide, for the production of thallium-201; the number of times of the recovery of the thallium-203 isotope to be recovered is 20 times; and the produced thallium-201 isotope can be applied to an agent for measurement of cerebral circulation by single photon emission CT (SPECT) for nuclear medicine diagnosis. PSOLUTION: The thallium-203 is used as a raw material and is irradiated with proton beams by means of a cyclotron and subjected to chemical separation and refining to produce the thallium-201 radioisotope.
