PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket gate machine and a ticket gate method for improving the convenience of a user, and for reducing the labor of a staff.;SOLUTION: In a first timing, identification information unique to a ticket medium and ticket gate information necessary for the ticket gate processing of a group user are read from the ticket medium, and the ticket gate processing of the group user is operated based on the read ticket gate information.
