POSITIONAL INFORMATION NOTIFICATION METHOD DURING NOTIFICATION FROM PORTABLE TERMINAL TO EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION DESTINATION, AND EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and accurately notify a notification destination of a current position without executing a special operation during emergency notification using a portable terminal provided with a GPS function.;SOLUTION: At the emergency notification destination, a call by a special number for designating the emergency notification destination arrives from the portable terminal provided with a GPS device for detecting the current position, identifies a mobile communication company utilized by the portable terminal when unable to discriminate a position of the portable terminal, and transmits notification including a telephone number and an address of the emergency notification destination to a mobile communication device of the identified company. The mobile communication device downloads the corresponding application software for positional measurement into the portable terminal after identifying a model of the portable terminal. The portable terminal transmits notification addressed to the emergency notification destination after acquiring positional information by using the GPS device while executing the downloaded software.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
