PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifying device eliminating the need for sequential operation with a ventilator in determination of a humidification season. PSOLUTION: The humidifying device 2 receives commands for starting and stopping operation, and date information from a centralized controller 1 through a communication line 3. A setting switch 14 for setting a humidification season is provided in a control board 13 provided in the humidifying device 2. When a control circuit mounted in the control board 13 receives the operation start command, a solenoid valve 8 of a water supply side is turned on to supply water to a humidifier 7, and an air supply blower 6 is driven to carry out humidification operation, only when the date information is within a period of the humidification season set in the setting switch 14. When the stop command is received during the humidification season period, only the solenoid valve 8 of the water supply side is turned off. When the operation start command is inputted within a certain period, the water supply side solenoid valve 8 is turned on to transit to the humidification operation, but when the operation start command is not inputted within the certain period, a solenoid valve 8 of a drain side is turned on to carry out dry air blowing operation to prevent decay of the humidifier.
