PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sandbag for railroad track bed ballast, and a track bed replacing method in railroad track change-over work using the sandbag having strength not broken even if packing ballast and carrying out vibrating compaction.;SOLUTION: The sandbag for railroad track bed ballast is formed by preparing a rectangular woven fabric member 13 double-woven so that warp members 31 formed by doubling a first string-like material with polyethylene fiber members bundled in plate shape, and weft members 32 of the same constitution, are alternate, folding the woven fabric member almost at the center, sewing the side part and the bottom part with sewing thread members 19, 21 to form a bag body opened at the upper part, twisting a third string material with polyethylene fiber members bundled, into three rope shape, arranging an opening string member 12 for gathering up the upper part of the bag body 11 to close the bag, in an opening string space 16, and setting the tensile strength of the woven fabric member to ≥1,000 N per 5 cm, the tensile strength of the opening string member to ≥1,000 N per one and the tensile strength of seams to ≥1,000 N per bag.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
